....and won over and over again. Which, in reality, winning in beer pong really just means you are the losers because we ended up way beyond drunk. Beer pong led to many bad decisions after that including my husband deciding everyone needed to take a dip in the ocean. So, he threw us in, one at a time....fully clothed. We all had a really good time that weekend.
But, that was then.
Today, I woke up, fed and changed our baby boy's diaper. Lonnie got up and headed off to work after cuddling with the little one and giving me a quick kiss goodbye. After playing with Gavin for a little while and making some breakfast, I baked a cake and attempted to decorate it for Lonnie's birthday. When Lonnie got off work, I asked him where he wanted to eat for his birthday. His answer was: Pizza Hut. Seriously. I think this boy could eat pizza every single day. But, since it is birthday, I had no say-so. So, Lonnie, Gavin and I packed into the car and drove to Pizza Hut. We talked about how our lives have changed and we came to the realization that we don't miss our old lives. They were fun, don't get me wrong, but eating pizza on a Friday night with our new little family is so much better.
Happy birthday to my wonderful husband and baby daddy. I love you more each day.
